Rails Envy Podcast - Episode #070: 03/13/2009
by Jason on Mar 13, 2009
Episode 70. I was going to try and copy Gregg from last week but my dog can't talk yet to do the introduction. Darn obedience classes. Obie Fernandez from Hashrocket co-hosts this week and we have a blast. I hope you all enjoy the show and am sorry for the delay. But it's a good one, I promise!

Thanks for the ubistrano mention. Some recent thoughts:

What’s with the echo (audible w/ headphones) at certain parts?
great podcast as always guys :)
I definitely think the merb companion should be released.
@Mislav Obie had to record on a USB mic this week and there was some sound leakage between my audio from Obie’s headphones and the microphone. I did all I could to the audio but there were still a few parts I couldn’t do anything about. I thought he sounded pretty good for the most part. This week’s is going to be a bit noisy also since Gregg is at SXSW and had to record in the halls.
@Lee Thanks a lot, I’m sure they’ll take that in to account re: Merb companion.
Err, awesome show as always. I’m trying to find a list of all the books Obie mentions during the show? I should have jotted them down as I was listening, a-r-g-h.
Jason, I was the guy that you were the total ahole to at Rails Edge (re: snagging my iPhone just before my lightning talk) First time ever giving a lightning talk and here I am freaking out because A) This expensive piece of electronics has just DISAPPEARED. B) Now I’m the dude looking like an ahole not being able to give my talk. Now I have to keep an eye out for you and your gang of iPhone stealing punks every where I go…
