Funny podcast, guys. I still think it’d be interesting to see what kind of chemistry would be generated by having both Steven and Jason sit in on the same podcast. Might get a little crazy, but who knows?

There seems to be a lot of confusion about using AlterEgo with ActiveRecord. I built AlterEgo to work with ActiveRecord, and it’s trivially simple:

1. Include AlterEgo in your model and define your states. 2. Add a “state” string column to your model.

That’s it.

In future releases I’ll be updating the documentation to make this clearer.
